Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Penelope Farthing as senior advisor in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
Farthing joins Bose Public Affairs Group from Patton Boggs LLP where her practice as senior counsel included significant work for local governments, in addition to corporate and trade association assignments. Her extensive government experience includes service at the Federal Communications Commission, Federal Trade Commission and United States Department of Agriculture.
“We are thrilled to have Penny join our team,” said Craig Piercy, principal and managing director of federal relations at Bose Public Affairs Group. “Her experience on Capitol Hill will be a great contribution to our federal government relations business and help us meet the needs of our growing client base.”
Farthing previously worked in the legal department of Allstate Insurance and held the position of counsel at the American Insurance Association and at the American Retail Federation.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University, in addition to a J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where she was elected to the Academy of Law Alumni Fellows. She is admitted to practice in Indiana and in the District of Columbia.
