Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is pleased to announce Trevor Vance was recently elected president of the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana at their annual fall conference in French Lick, Indiana. He will serve a one-year term in this role.
Founded in 1982, the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana was formed to encourage and assist lobbyists in maintaining a high degree of professional and ethical conduct in all transactions with governmental entities.
Vance is a vice president with Bose Public Affairs Group, where he focuses on policy development, procurement and legislative lobbying in the state legislative arena. He has experience representing a variety of issues including energy, financial institutions, environmental regulations, worker classification, as well as matters affecting food and beverage manufacturers in the legislative and regulatory realms.
Prior to joining Bose Public Affairs Group, Vance served eight years as the manager of state affairs for the Indiana Statewide Association of Rural Electric Cooperatives, Inc. In addition, Vance spent several years at the Indiana House of Representatives working his way up to the role of senior legislative assistant.
Vance earned his Bachelor of Science in political science, with a concentration in pre-law, from the University of Indianapolis. As a result of his professional accomplishments, the Indiana Society of Association Executives honored Vance with their Award of Excellence in Government Affairs for his efforts on behalf of Bose clients.
