Bose Public Affairs Group LLC announced today the promotion of Andrew Miller to senior vice president of operations.
Based in the firm’s Indianapolis headquarters, Miller previously served as vice president. In addition to his current responsibilities in state and local government relations, Miller will now support daily operations and strategic planning with Bose Public Affairs Group Managing Principal Doug Brown.
“As one of our longest serving team members, Andy has been a key player in growing our firm, and he will continue to help lead us in new directions,” said Brown. “Our colleagues and clients alike appreciate Andy’s work ethic, dedication and enthusiasm.”
Since joining Bose Public Affairs Group in 2000, Miller has consistently established his reputation in the public affairs industry on a variety of issues with a primary focus in state and local government relations. His areas of expertise also include strategic planning, relationship development and political action committee management.
Miller serves on the board of the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute. He is also a member of the Program and Planning Committee for Junior Achievement of Central Indiana, Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana, The Advocacy Group and the Frostburg State University Alumni Association.
Miller previously served as a mayoral appointment to the Indianapolis International Airport Authority and as an advisory board member for the St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf. He also volunteered as a host committee member for the 2002 meeting of the National Black Caucus of State Legislators in Indianapolis.
Miller earned his undergraduate degree from Frostburg State University. He was appointed by the Governor of Maryland to a one-year commission as a member of the University System of Maryland Board of Regents. During his tenure on the board, he was a member of the Education Policy and Advancement Committees.
