Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is pleased to announce Stephen Cooke has been promoted to vice president of the government relations and strategic communications firm.
Since joining the firm in 2011, Cooke has managed public relations, social media strategies, and video production services for the firm’s diverse client base. His media relations expertise and communications strategies have proven successful for clients throughout the Midwest and nationally.
“Steve’s promotion is well deserved as he has demonstrated a tremendous ability to manage complex issues and achieve the desired results for our valued business partners,” said Roger Harvey, principal at Bose Public Affairs Group.
Cooke has been instrumental in multiple award-winning campaigns including PRSA Hoosier Chapter’s Pinnacles “Best of Show” Award for media relations and Pinnacle Awards for clients in public affairs and public service.
Prior to joining Bose Public Affairs Group, Cooke was with Briljent where he worked closely with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on external communication for Medicare. Cooke has also worked as a communications specialist with the Indiana Department of Revenue. Cooke began his career in strategic communications with Cummins Inc. as a corporate communications production specialist where he produced videos for both internal and external audiences.
Cooke graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications. He received his master’s degree in Public Relations at Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis. He and his wife, Marnie, along with their two daughters, live in Noblesville.
