Doug Brown, a partner at Bose McKinney & Evans LLP and managing principal at Bose Public Affairs Group LLC, has been appointed to serve on the board of directors for the Indy Chamber.
Brown will serve a three year term on the board, playing a vital role in shaping regional business initiatives for the Indy Chamber in addition to supporting a strong foundation on which the Indianapolis region will grow and thrive.
Brown is a partner in the Business Services Group of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP. He is also an active member of the firm’s Governmental Services and Financial Institutions Groups. Brown advises businesses in various sectors, including mortgage lending, software, manufacturing, motorsports, real estate development, gaming and horse racing, in connection with a wide variety of legal issues, including business transactions, disputes, financing, governmental affairs, public affairs, legislative affairs, regulatory affairs, and daily strategic and operational matters.
Brown’s law practice dovetails into his work at Bose Public Affairs Group, where he assists clients in their legislative and executive branch lobbying needs as managing principal of the public affairs firm.
Brown has been a longtime member and officer of the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County, comprised of nine community leaders responsible for the ownership, financing and operation of the City of Indianapolis’ sports, convention and public assembly venues, including the Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, Bankers Life Fieldhouse and Victory Field.
He earned his doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law – Indianapolis.
