INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Bose McKinney & Evans LLP and Bose Public Affairs Group LLC are proud to announce Jennifer Drewry and Philip Zimmerly were recognized by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana as “Indy’s Best and Brightest” finalists.
The “Best and Brightest” award program identifies 100 of the most outstanding young professionals, age 40 and under in Indianapolis who are successful in their careers and involved in improving the community. Drewry and Zimmerly were one of 10 chosen to be recognized in their industry categories of government and law. The winners were officially recognized during a gala on November 9 at the Hilbert Circle Theatre.
Drewry advises breweries, distillers, retailers, distributors, and other businesses and municipalities in all aspects of the alcoholic beverage industry and related governmental agency procedures. She also is of counsel in the Hospitality and Alcoholic Beverage Law Group.
Zimmerly is an associate in the Labor and Employment and Litigation Groups of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP. Before joining the firm, Zimmerly served as a juridical law clerk for The Honorable Bobby Shepherd on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He was also legislative counsel for the ranking member on the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee advising on executive and judicial nominations including nominees for the U.S. Supreme Court.
Both Drewry and Zimmerly serve their communities through several organizations. Drewry is a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and serves on the parish school’s parent-teacher organization. She also volunteers with the Heroes Foundation, an organization that provides support for cancer patients.
Zimmerly is a mentor with the Starfish Initiative, a nonprofit aimed at encouraging college success for Indianapolis high school students. He also volunteers with the Neighborhood Christian Legal Clinic which provides pro bono legal assistance to low income families.
