Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is proud to announce that Doug Brown, managing principal at Bose Public Affairs Group LLC and a partner at Bose McKinney & Evans LLP, has been tapped as the executive chair of the 2017 American Cancer Society Discovery Ball which will be held in Indianapolis in November of 2017.
Brown, DougIn addition, Bose Public Affairs Group Principal and Managing Director of Strategic Business Services Jennifer Ping will serve on the 2017 American Cancer Society Discovery Ball’s Council of Ambassadors, which is a committee of community leaders organized to support the event’s fundraising efforts.
For more than 100 years the American Cancer Society has been one of the leading organizations dedicated to finding cures for cancer patients. Annually the organization provides more than $7 million in grants to Indiana research institutions. These efforts have led to a 20 percent decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s.
Ping, JenniferBrown assists legislative and executive branch lobbying needs at Bose Public Affairs Group and is a partner in the Business Services Group of Bose McKinney & Evans LLP. He is also an active member of the law firm’s Governmental Services and Financial Institutions Groups. Brown advises businesses in various sectors in connection with a wide variety of public affairs and legal issues.
Brown volunteers his time to several causes and organizations which include the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County, the St. Mary’s Charities Board of Trustees, the Ivy Tech Community College Foundation, the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana Foundation Board of Directors, the Indy Chamber Board of Directors and the Indiana Chamber’s Government Affairs Council.
At Bose Public Affairs Group, Ping serves the firm’s clients in the areas of governmental relations, legislative and executive branch lobbying, state and local procurement, political consulting and grassroots consulting. In addition to her work with the public affairs firm, Ping is also a principal for Bose Government Strategies focusing on government regulatory consulting. She is active in the community, and was recently presented the Women of Influence award from the Indianapolis Business Journal.
