Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is proud to announce that Dan Seitz, senior public advisory, is the recipient of the Buist M. Anderson Distinguished Service Award presented recently in Miami, Florida from The Association of Life Insurance Counsel (ALIC).
In addition to his role at Bose Public Affairs Group, Seitz is a member of the board of directors of the WCF subsidiary Advantage Workers Compensation Insurance Company.
Seitz was recognized with the award by the ALIC Board of Governors for his significant contributions to ALIC, since he joined the Association in 1979. He provided continuous support to the association’s scholarship funds and served as a participant on several panels addressing a variety of regulatory issues.  He also was a member of the Board of Governors in 2005 and 2006, and served as Social Chairman, responsible for managing the Annual Meeting Golf Tournaments, from 2003 through 2010.
The ALIC Board of Governors said that Seitz’s significant contributions to the association are matched by those he made to the life insurance industry, the life insurance bar and to colleagues he met along the way.
“Dan’s intelligence, leadership, collegiality and demonstrated excellence in service to ALIC and the industry embody the qualities and values the Anderson Award was designed to honor,” said the ALIC Board of Governors in a statement.
Seitz has more than four decades of experience representing diverse public policy interests in the Indiana legislature and working with Indiana regulatory agencies.
