Roger Harvey, principal and managing director of strategic communications of Bose Public Affairs Group LLC, received the PR Catalyst Award. The award is a statewide recognition from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Hoosier Chapter.
Mayor Andy Cook of Westfield nominated Harvey for the Catalyst Award, which is presented annually to one individual in honor of his or her exemplary use of ethical, astute and creative public relations skills. To qualify, nominees must have at least 10 years of experience.
“Roger’s strategic mindset is extremely beneficial in identifying opportunities and challenges which helps us as we continue to build our thriving city,” wrote Mayor Cook in his nomination letter of Harvey to PRSA. He also included, “Roger is a well-established leader in crisis communications because he has successfully assisted so many people during highly-visible crisis situations.”
Harvey is a trusted advisor to executive leadership at leading corporations, governmental entities, associations and non-profit organizations representing multiple industries from healthcare, energy, manufacturing, life sciences to retail and economic development. His expertise includes crisis communications, public relations, media coaching, grassroots campaigns, alliance development and advocacy.

Prior to joining Bose Public Affairs Group, Harvey spent 18 years working in television news as an Emmy award-winning journalist. Harvey is a frequent conference speaker discussing the latest trends in journalism and how to communicate effectively with the media.
He has received numerous other awards from the International Association of Business Communicators, the Indiana Society of Association Executives, PRSA Hoosier Chapter and the East Central District as well as multiple recognitions for his work in journalism.
