Emily Wilson, vice president at Bose Public Affairs Group, has been appointed to serve on the Starfish Initiative board of directors.
Starfish Initiative is a college access and readiness mentorship program serving economically disadvantaged students in Marion County. Starfish Initiative inspires, encourages and prepares these students for college and career success by pairing them with a college-educated, volunteer adult mentor who helps them navigate the college preparation and application process.
At Bose Public Affairs Group, Wilson is a member of the strategic communications team. She leads client accounts from a variety of industries on the local, state and national level. Her expertise includes strategic planning, media relations, advocacy and coalition building, crisis communications and reputation management.
Wilson is also a member of United Way Emerging Leaders and Women United. Wilson is also active in the Public Relations Society of America Hoosier Chapter and the Indianapolis chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Wilson received her bachelor’s degree in English literature from Hanover College and her master’s degree in journalism from Indiana University.
