
Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is pleased to announce Andy Miller has been named managing principal for the governmental affairs and strategic communications firm. Miller will succeed Doug Brown as managing principal effective October 1. Brown has served as managing principal for eight years and will remain fully engaged with the firm and its clients as a principal and senior policy adviser.

Miller joined Bose Public Affairs Group in 2000 and has built a diverse public affairs practice focused primarily on state and local government relations. He was promoted to senior vice president of operations in 2014 and named a principal in 2016.
Miller is a member of the Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute’s board of directors and is on the executive committee. He is a member of the Governmental Affairs Society of Indiana (GASI), which is dedicated to maintaining ethical and professional standards in Indiana’s government affairs industry.
Miller serves on the board of the Indiana Stadium and Convention Building Authority. He has held previous appointments to the boards of the Indianapolis International Airport Authority and the Fort Harrison Reuse Authority. He is a graduate of Frostburg State University and was, while still a student, appointed by the Governor of Maryland as a full member of the University System of Maryland Board of Regents. During his tenure on the board, he was a member of the Education Policy and Advancement Committees.
Brown joined Bose Public Affairs Group in 2010 after serving as the chair of the governmental affairs group at an Indianapolis law firm and he was a vice president and principal of a public affairs firm. Brown is also a partner with Bose McKinney & Evans and a member of the firm’s Governmental Services Group and Business Services Group.
Brown has served in senior leadership roles with numerous community organizations, including the Capital Improvement Board of Marion County, the Indy Chamber, St. Mary’s Child Center, the International School of Indiana, the International Center, Ivy Tech Foundation, Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana Foundation, the American Cancer Society and Franklin College.
Brown earned his doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law –Indianapolis, and completed his undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University.
