
Taylor Fennell is a member of the newest cohort of Bose Public Affairs Group interns and will be in the Washington, D.C. office through December. Originally from Lufkin, Texas, Taylor is a junior studying telecommunications, media and journalism at Texas A&M University.
In her time on campus, Taylor has served as editor-in-chief of The Battalion, Texas A&M’s school newspaper, covering local policy, national politics and social movements. She also has worked as a communications assistant at The Association of Former Students at Texas A&M, writing for Texas Aggie magazine and maintaining large social media channels. Taylor has directed media initiatives for student body election campaigns, as well as volunteered on U.S. House, Senate and presidential campaigns.
As an intern at Bose Public Affairs Group, Taylor will support numerous clients and their priorities, especially those in energy, the environment and STEM education. In addition to those areas, she is passionate about media literacy, international development and gun policy. She hopes this semester will be the first chapter of a lifelong career of affecting policy.
Upon completion of this internship, Taylor will embark for Italy to study intercultural communications for the spring. She then will return to campus for her senior year. She is interested in using her media studies and policy experience to create an impactful career after graduation.
