Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is pleased to announce Justin Swanson has been promoted to principal at the government relations and strategic communications firm. Swanson will continue to lead clients from a variety of different sectors with a focus on municipal government, education, cannabis and state and local government relations.

Since joining Bose Public Affairs Group in 2015, Swanson has concentrated his practice on providing state and local government relations services to municipal governments, school corporations, businesses and the growing cannabis industry. As a member of the state and local government relations team, Swanson has created a unique practice centered around assisting municipalities and clients focused on economic and community development.

In addition, Swanson is part of the Governmental Services Group of Bose McKinney & Evans. He focuses his law practice on the administrative and economic development needs of municipalities and the growing cannabis industry in Indiana. Swanson also is active in the community and serves in multiple ways. He is a member of the board of directors for the Indiana Leadership Forum, Downtown GOP Club, and serves as the president and co-founder of Midwest Hemp Council. He also is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association.

Swanson received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton and is a 2012 Indiana University McKinney School of Law graduate.
