Bose Public Affairs Group LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Robyn Hiestand as a vice president and member of the federal relations team in the Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining Bose Public Affairs Group, Hiestand worked as the deputy chief of staff for Congressman Brad Sherman. In that role, she served as liaison between staff and Congressman Sherman on employee well-being, project updates and legislative proposals. Previously, Hiestand served as a senior budget and policy analyst for the U.S. Senate Committee on The Budget as well as a legislative assistant for Martin Sabo.

Prior to her time on Capitol Hill, Hiestand worked as director of research and policy for College Promise Campaign and was principal of her own consulting company focused on higher education policy and finance. She brings a deep knowledge of education policy and vast experience with the legislative process to the BPAG federal relations team.

Hiestand is a graduate of Augsburg College with a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science and earned her master’s degree in public policy at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
