E. Mitchell (Mitch) Roob is a senior policy advisor with Bose Public Affairs Group. As a veteran executive who has extensive experience in government and business, Mitch works with clients on a variety of issues related to health and economic development.
He most recently served as president and CEO of Wound Vision, a medical hardware and software technology firm. Mitch also has experience in the development and creation of provider to patient telehealth medicine technology, and currently is president of Healthcare Anywhere.
Mitch held leadership roles in the administration of Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels, which included secretary of commerce, CEO of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation and secretary of Family & Social Services Administration. He was the principal architect of Governor Daniels’ innovative Healthy Indiana Plan to address the issues of high rates of smoking, low rates of childhood immunizations and the growing number of uninsured Hoosiers.
He also was the Indianapolis Department of Public Works and Department of Transportation under Mayor Stephen Goldsmith. Mitch was the president of the Marion County Health & Hospital Corporation and COO of the Indianapolis Water Company. He was the co-founder of NetGov, an internet firm eventually purchased by Lockheed Martin and later served as vice president of Lockheed Martin/ACS.
Honors / Awards
Mitch is recipient of a Sagamore of the Wabash, the highest state governmental honor bestowed upon a civilian, presented by Indiana Governor Mitchell E. Daniels. In addition, he was included in the Indianapolis Business Journal’s first class of Forty Under 40 honorees.
Education
Mitch earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University and a Master in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
