Hannah Thomas is director of strategic communications at Bose Public Affairs Group, where she counsels executives, elected officials and senior leaders on the issues that carry significant public consequence. Her work spans media strategy, crisis and reputation management and stakeholder engagement. Across a decade in government, political campaigns, agency consulting and civic organizations, she has built a record of steadying institutions under scrutiny and moving contested priorities forward.

Before joining BPAG, Hannah served as vice president of public affairs and social media at a local advertising agency, where she built new agency capabilities in public affairs, influencer marketing and partnerships. She led media relations, government affairs, crisis response, civic engagement and corporate reputation work for clients in financial services, healthcare, economic and community development and hospitality. Earlier in her career, Hannah served as chief communications officer for the City of Indianapolis, where she advised the mayor and city leadership on communications for economic and community development, affordable housing and city planning. She also worked at a communications and public affairs firm where she guided financial services clients through congressional scrutiny and federal investigations, advised national associations on media relations and directed paid, earned and owned media campaigns for statewide nonprofits leading Lilly Endowment-funded partnerships.

Hannah completed the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Emerging Leaders program and served as a delegate representing the United States in the U.S. Congress-Republic of Korea National Assembly Exchange.

Hannah has been recognized as a Junior Achievement of Central Indiana Best and Brightest honoree and an Indiana University Black Alumni Club Rising Star Alumni.
